Page SEO Checker
Enter any public page URL. We fetch it once, run deterministic technical-SEO checks, and show every finding with its observed evidence, priority and fix — the complete report, free.
What it checks
The checker fetches your page the way a crawler would (one request, no JavaScript execution) and evaluates the response against a versioned set of deterministic rules:
- Reachability & transport — HTTP status, HTTPS, mixed content, redirect chain.
- Indexability —
noindexin meta robots orX-Robots-Tag, robots.txt disallow for our crawler, canonical tags (missing, duplicated, or pointing elsewhere). - On-page elements — title and meta description presence/length, H1 and heading structure, mobile viewport, language and charset declarations.
- Structured data & social — JSON-LD presence and syntax, Open Graph tags, schema depth signals (dates, organization links).
- Content signals — word count, image alt coverage, freshness dates, author/E-E-A-T markers on article-like pages, soft-404 patterns, security headers.
How to read the report
Findings are ordered by severity: critical issues can prevent the page from being indexed at all; high and medium issues typically cost visibility or click-through; low and info items are hygiene. Every finding shows the exact evidence we observed (the tag, header or value), why it matters, and how to fix it. Findings labeled hypothesis come from unverified industry sources and are explicitly not measured facts.
Methodology
Checks are deterministic — the same input always produces the same findings, and no AI model decides what is or isn't an issue. The 0–100 score is a secondary summary: it starts at 100 and subtracts a fixed weight per finding (critical −40, high −15, medium −7, low −2, info −0); a page that can't be fetched scores 0. The rule-set version appears on every report so results stay comparable. The score is not a Google metric and does not predict rankings.
Limitations
- One page, one snapshot — not a full-site crawl and not the search index's view.
- JavaScript isn't executed, so client-rendered content can be reported as missing (the report flags this when it detects a JS shell).
- Search engines rewrite titles and snippets; length checks are display heuristics, not ranking factors.
- Valid structured data does not guarantee rich results.
- We can't see Google's internal signals, your competitors' data, or your analytics — passing every check doesn't guarantee rankings or traffic.
Official sources
The checks follow public documentation: Google Search Central, structured-data policies, W3C WCAG 2.2 and OWASP SSRF prevention (for how we fetch safely).
